Lovely visit, only the main floor though. The tour guide was great. What bothered me was the explanation of why we cant visit the top floor- the wood banister gets damaged by the disinfecting solutions (which I understand). I guess there are solutions to go around ithow about covering the banister with plastic? Or other kind of protection fabric?!

It's a nice place for the first time of me going in here but I really wish for the vet. They would have a bigger spot and more display for what they have done for our country and what they've gone through for us. At least we can give them the more respect or at least this museum can give them more respect of a bigger display for them. I want to go visit them to see to learn about my birth father's side of them being in the war. They had nothing out of them after. My aunt has given it to them over a year ago but like I said they need a bigger space. This building is humongous beautiful inside. They have other museum in there of the rooms as well but give them more of the this building for their respect or build one just for the vets. The person who takes care of that part was not there so the person who did help me called them to see of what they can find to show me wasn't very much. But it was a belief better than nothing. They kept it in the filing cabinet. I'm sure they get a lot of donations of a lot of things for displayed and only have so much room and so much time to display them. But they should at least have one build just for the vets to give them the respect they need for all what they have went through and many of them have not came home but some did. So give the respect to both who did and didn't come home but otherwise, this place is really unique. I wish I had more time to go through the museum to learn more about my birth father's side but if you have time, go check out this place. They have other museum rooms in there for other things. What I didn't get a chance to learn about but it is absolutely beautiful inside I love history. I love learning about it and if you want to learn about tilsonburg start here
