Tobermory Inn & Suites

Room was nice, clean, bed very comfortable, loved the balcony. So close to town center that we walked there several times a day. The on site manager was nice and made himself available for what we needed. No food service but it is so close to restaurants that we did not miss this feature.

The place is under construction. The room pictures on the website are not exactly what they are. Beds are very soft so it's not for somebody with back problems. (Translated by Google) Due to the Vicotoria Days many accommodations were fully booked and we ended up at the "Tobermory Inn & Suites". The check in was cumbersome for us. As tourists we depend on WiFi and we got the code to our key at 12:00 noon, when we were already out of the old accommodation. So, after arriving at the accommodation, we first had to go to a restaurant to have WiFi and get the code for the room key. After overcoming this hurdle, we entered the room. Overall everything was old but clean. However, the carpet near the bathroom was wet and using the shower required some muscle power. The towels also had stains. For us, the price-performance ratio was in no way correct. I was glad when I could leave the accommodation again. (Original) Auf Grund des Vicotoria Days waren viele Unterknfte ausgebucht und wir sind im "Tobermory Inn & Suites" gelandet. Der Check in war fr uns umstndlich. Als Touristen sind wir auf WiFi angewiesen und wir bekamen den Code zu unserem Schlssel um 12:00 Uhr mittags, sprich als wir aus der alten Unterkunft schon raus waren. Wir mussten also, nachdem wir bei der Unterkunft angekommen waren, zuerst in ein Restaurant gehen um WiFi zu haben und den Code fr den Zimmerschlssel rauszubekommen. Nachdem diese Hrde berwunden war, betraten wir das Zimmer. Insgesamt war alles alt, aber sauber. Jedoch war der Teppichboden in der Nhe des Badezimmers nass und die Bedienung der Dusche erforderte einiges an Muskelkraft. Die Handtcher hatten zudem Flecken. Fr uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis in keiner Weise gestimmt. Ich war froh, als ich die Unterkunft wieder verlassen konnte.

Great value and clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel is under renovation, however the rooms that are available were nice and easily accessed via lock box for no contact entry. Location is great, with water/ferry views from some of the rooms. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 5/5 More
