Blue Bay Motel

Effortless check-in and checkout and helpful staff. Close to ferries, restaurants, the lighthouse, national parks, and even a pickleball court up the street. Just be aware this is next to the harbor, and the first ferry out to Manitoulin will blow its horn at 8:40am right next to the motel. It's a good alarm clock, depending on when you want to be awake.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff, great location. Rooms had hairdryer, coffee maker, tea, cute and clean and new mini-fridge, lots of blankets and pillows. In the lobby there's a water cooler to refill your bottle, a microwave. In the backyard area there is a grill and patio table and chairs. We didn't use the patio because it was cold, but we made use of everything else. The location is perfect, right in front of the water, centre of the little town where all the restaurants are.

Visited Tobermory in June with my boyfriend and we had a great time. Blue Bay Motel was cozy and very clean - which can sometimes be hard to find when the rooms have wood finishes. I see that someone mentioned the rooms being small, however this wasn't the case for us. The room had plenty of room including a dining table enough for 4 people and a mini kitchenette with fridge and microwave. There was also plenty of space to keep luggage. The staff were also great - gave recommendations and answered all my questions prior to our stay!
