Update: Again more lip service replies from management. Ive brought attention to the building to all the issues I originally listed but no change, no one listens or cares to fix. Just today more than 50% of the washers were out of service. The infestations remain unchanged and no one bothers to inspect the units to find the source. They just keep stating we dont know which units are the problem. Maybe just inspect them as you do annually anyway?! Its not rocket science! Actions speak louder than words. Cant wait to get out of here. Ive lived here for over the past 15 years and it used to be an amazing building! Management changed about a year ago and all the people who actually cared about the building left. Now we are left with unresponsiveness, an unfriendly super, cockroach infestations, some tenants have mice, and zero help. Fire alarms go off constantly and for extended periods of time. Usually set off by old sprinkler systems that leak all over the underground parking but no one cares to fix it. The security sits in a corner on their phone and is never around. Ive witnessed on numerous occasions them watching others let strangers in the building and do nothing to stop it. Ive called the super for security concerns and he told me to just call the security number because of course the guard wasnt anywhere to be found. Called and they were zero help and barely knew where I was calling from. Might as well save the money because they are useless. Packages stolen all the time and people hiding in stairwells. The washers and dryers are consistently breaking down and youre told to just call the company. When they do work they dont really clean your clothes. Maybe they should take the security money and actually invest in new machines that might actually work! The community manager seems to be the only one holding this place together but she cant fix everything. Extremely disappointed to see how badly this building has fallen over the last few years.

It used to be ok living here but with the condo being built at 55 Charles st its gotten so noisy. In the summer too being down the street from the shelter you would have people yelling up and down Isabella st in the middle of the night. The walls are also pretty thin - you can hear the elevator from the bedroom sometimes and good luck if you have upstairs neighbors with toddlers because youll hear all the footsteps.

Awful management. Serious mold and water damage to apartment that they refuse to do any repair on. Apartment is dangerously hot, stuck at 32 celsius and they refuse to turn off the heat. Don't consider moving in here if you care about your health or safety

I lived here for 4 years in the East Tower and it was the worst rental building I have ever lived in. This building is noisy. The walls and ceilings sound paper thin and you can hear your neighbours all the time. You can hear tenants using the chute room, even with your bedroom door closed. Neighbours also throw parties that you will hear clearly right through your wall and it's even worse when the parties spill out onto their balconies. The neighbourhood is noisy, there is a church down the street that helps the homeless but many camp out there and get into loud screaming fights up and down the street on the north side of the building. It would happen every week, all summer long. Maintenance requests were the worst. Example: I spent almost two months waiting for my busted washer/dryer to be replaced with excuse after excuse from management. And that was before the pandemic. Building management did not seem to care to address issues the entire time I was there unless the issue was super basic. They even made a big show during the pandemic of putting sanitizer dispensers on all the floors and then never filled them up. Not once. I even mentioned it to them verbally and over email but they remained empty. They only filled the dispenser, evey now and then, in the lobby. It was usually empty as well. There is no security in-building. You have to call them. Good luck with them showing up in a reasonable amount of time. Homeless would sneak into the building all the time. I caught the same guy sleeping and urinating in the cramped chute room multiple times and I had to ask him to leave. Also caught a guy licking my elderly neighbour's door. Another was trying door knobs to see if the doors were unlocked. I asked him to leave the building. I believe the only people that had any sort of work ethic in this building were the cleaning staff and the leasing lady. The rest seems clearly disinterested in the building and tenants. They changed out the management a few weeks before I moved out in the summer of 2021. Things may have changed but I seriously doubt it, especially since I caught one of the new staff shamelessly cruising women in the lobby multiple times before I moved out. Anyway, after a year of dealing with constant noise from a neighbour above me and other neighbours around me throwing parties, persistently barking dogs, and management not addressing issues, I had enough and moved out. Good riddens. Even if they paid me to live there again, and gave me free rent, hell would freeze over before I would do so.
