Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

This is not our first visit with the family, but it is always a magical place to visit. Great experience for the kids and adults too.

I want to commend Ripleys for their excellent, and sensitive, customer service. We had bought online tickets for later today, and about an hour after buying one member of our household tested positive for Covid. I called the customer service number and spoke with a very nice agent who told me that they would refund the tickets if I sent an email explaining the situation. I sent the email and about 45 mins later I got a reply saying the refund had been processed and we should see it back on our credit card within 2 to 3 days. That's great customer service, and Ripleys should be applauded. The family members who were planning to go were feeling fine, but we didn't want to take the risk that we could infect other customers at Ripleys. And to their credit, Ripleys recognized this and offered us the refund. Great customer service!

Lots of information about the various sea life, including live diving demonstrations where the fish are fed while the divers teach you about the creatures they're feeding. Very fun and interactive displays throughout, including shark, crab and stingray touching stations. Finally got to see the octopus, after three years as a member!!

Like all activities in Toronto I find the price excessive ($50 with tax) More geared towards children. (We were a couple) There doesn't seem to be a population limit so good luck sneaking between the aquariums. Good surprises all the same with the tunnel and its conveyor belt or the giant octopus.
