I have had one amazing interaction here and one that was just awful. Firstly, customer service is not what banks care about, so I get that. But RBC visa has been giving me so many issues. Fraudulent purchases peppering my account since August 2022! The first person who helped me here kindly called the fraud line (they have a more direct line to the fraud department), and we waited half an hour to speak to someone and sort it out. I was on hold for more than 4 hours before that (during a weekday at work), and then was hung up on. Today I noticed that my credit card declined while trying to buy medication. I went on to my RBC mobile and noticed that there was another fraudulent purchase from Uber (this is apparently common these days, Uber is horrible). I had unlinked my credit card from Uber when it happened in August so I dont know how this went through on my new card. Teller who I talked to today was so unhelpful and rude. Unlike his colleagues, he has no empathy and did not offer any assistance in person. I was directed to go into a bank when I had been on hold for hours because branches have a more direct line to call the fraud department. He did not offer to do this for me, just insisting it would take too long (not true based on other peoples experiences and my own). The only helpful or empathetic person was the security guard. While I understand all banks are terrible, I am going to book an appointment to move my banking elsewhere. Even this branch, which has had mostly good reviews, employs people who are rude, unhelpful and lacking empathy. If youre going to be so nasty about your service, you may as well lean into it. Would give that teller negative stars if I could. Never got his name. Shout out to the kind security guard who was giving me advice as to how to proceed with my credit card fraud situation. Youre the best.

Branch manager is not willing to help with mortgage question while only ask customer to call hot line after a long wait at the teller side.

Amazing service from Dina who assisted me with a wire transfer. She walked me through the whole experience, and simplified things for me. I really appreciate how diligent she is as well. Will definitely be doing my banking at this location going forward.
