My first visit to McSorley's was over this past weekend( May 20th, 2023). Arriving around 8 pm, I expected the place to be packed. To my surprise, there were still spots available with a choose your own seating policy at this time. Quickly sitting down and looking over the various options outlined, I settled on a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries as a side and a nice cold Richard's Red. The fries and drink went down with ease with being lightly salted and smooth flavour respectfully. The sandwich felt a little dry, which was unfortunate since the bun was soft and buttery, and the cheese melted to a great consistency. Gravy was obtained to remedy the dryness of the meat, thus making the meal all the more delicious. I'd say the local saloon would definitely warrant another visit as the hostess made the experience a pleasure and comfortable evening along with the great food.
