The CakeSmith has been one of my favourite local places to find delicious pastries. I have pre-ordered cakes for a birthday occasion and have also walked in many times to always find high quality desserts at accessible prices, made from scratch by the owner. Gorgeous designs of their window displays too. Always kind service. I love their cannoli, Dulce de Leche, and many of the cookies and the cakes by the slice. They also offer some prepared Ukrainian food favourites such as pierogies, cabbage rolls and soup to take out. Highly recommending to add to your route when you are visiting the Bloor West Village, or if you are looking to order a custom cake online.

They sell stale, days old cakes. Worst part is I specifically asked them if what I was buying was fresh and they lied and said Yes.

I bought this birthday cake for my wife on feb 27 around 35 $. Its was really bad cake. Dry crust , test and smell like raw egg. We throught cake in garbage, I will never go back. I dont suggest this bakery. Dont wast ur money

Bought some cookies and small pastries for a family gathering. Everything was absolutely amazing and very delicious! I'll be coming back to try a lot more of their pastries. Edit: adding more to my previous review - I have gotten cakes, cookies, and small desserts for myself, friends, and family and have not been disappointed a single time. Highly recommend!!
