The Mobile Shop

It's true that this place is literally a kiosk for cell phones, yes, there was a long wait, and yes, The Mobile Shop is understaffed, but let's be clear that the people who are working there are first rate patient, and go above and beyond what they are probably expected to do in light of the not so great working conditions (on their feet, with only two really uncomfortable chairs shared by everyone). In particular, when I was there with my mother (we were both getting new phones) Stephen managed to balance everything expertly and professionally- he helped his colleagues and attended to me and my mom, doing his very best to make sure all was smooth and working. My five star rating is for Stephen, who we had direct experience with, but I can see that the other two staff members were doing their very best on boxing day, despite the flood of customers. Any frustration at The Mobile Shop needs to be directed to their corporate offices who clearly overwork their staff, thus, employees should be acknowledged, and hopefully properly compensated for their labour.

This is an awful place. It's understaffed, so expect to wait an hour+. There is always technical issues on their end and the staff are careless and seem incompetent. Please avoid this place at all costs
