The Blue Shoe Box

Beautiful store. Dont photograph any shoes or youll be scolded (a lot) We werent asked if we needed help, he seemed reeeaallly annoyed by the one photo we took of a shoe. Maybe he should have a sign in the store if he has such a strong stance on it. A lot of people send photos to people for opinionsits 2023 after all :-)

The shoes and accessories are very nice, but my interaction with the clerk (I assume the owner) was extremely negative. I took a photo of a sandal that I was interested in to send to a friend to confirm that it was the brand that he had recommended. The man behind the desk was very irritated that I took a photo without asking first. Anytime I opened my mouth to explain why I had taken the photo he talked over me, saying that it was very rude, that Im probably taking a photo so that I can go find the item at an online retailer. I always prefer to support small businesses and would have been happy to buy these sandals here, but this man made me feel like my business was not welcome. I feel like if he doesnt want people photographing his merchandise he should have a sign. I will absolutely not be returning.
