        Note to everybody: this place is now a sad, sidewalk, takeout joint only! Owners pay the rent and utilities for a large space (Bloor West, imagine the rent?) that you see through the large, front, pane glass window, which is now shuttered and dark. A few years back, I used to be a regular here, before moving out of province. Visiting Toronto with family, was glad to find The Common still on the map, looked forward to sitting down Saturday morning for a good coffee and croissant in what used to be a lively, friendly, local gathering spot. No more. Now it is nothing but a utilitarian outpost. Seems they switched to takeout for Covid but never went back. How sad and depressing.

        What a bummer. I used to love this place. So disappointing to see that in April 2023 - 3 years on!!!!!!!! - they're just doing coffee through a little hole in plexiglass. Would be helpful to update info to show that there's nowhere to sit at all, indoors or out.
