As the Manager of Administration for a public company in the gold exploration industry, I hired BHD Networks to take us to the next step in storing our huge amount of data. Bill Dunn set up and secured a dedicated and easy to use Cloud for the admin, finance, and technical areas. He also set up an efficient and secure network that allowed us to work remotely long before Covid made this a necessity. Bill was very responsive to each users day to day needs, regardless of time zone, providing customization as well as researching and guiding us to purchase the necessary devices for the best available price. He was cooperative and timely in responding to our finance and Oxley auditors, always adjusting the infrastructure to keep us compliant. Lastly, Bill listens and communicates very well, something that is often missing in his industry.

When we started LUX Lighting Services in 2015 as a lighting design and construction business, the business took off quickly and we didnt have much time pay any attention to our computer needs. Then we were forced to pay attention due to our data needs growing too quickly. We were bottlenecked trying to share locally and nationally large CAD design files and ever growing Excel spreadsheet files. The business grew, but the need for data sharing and storage grew even faster! Secure Sharing of sensitive information: Sharing information securely, quickly and reliably become front and centre as the critical elements to keep our business flowing efficiently. Certain employees and customers needed access to some information; but NOT ALL our information. Thats when BHD stepped in to provide us with advice on cloud storage, hardware support, data support (remotely or in our offices). Our employees, designers, electrical engineers, subtrades and our customers ALL receive information reliably and quickly. Our storage needs are a non issue now with the vast amount of cloud storage at reasonable monthly cost. I did an experiment of working from Costa Rica last winter for 2 months and found the BHD cloud seamlessly worked. No one knew I wasnt in Canada and all information flowed as if I were normally at my desk. Service & Support: BHD is the first and last call we make. When it comes to service, when we encounter the VERY RARE wrinkle with our systems which is often an issue with our own hardware, a quick call for help to BHDis received promptly, met with a calm reply and our problem is fixed quickly. BHDs ability to remotely access and fix our computer issues or helping us find our own information is a critical benefitless stress and minimal downtime Systems design: When we started with BHD, they were able to show us what was missing in our computer data management. We now have a solid backup platform that could both protect the business assets (our data) and still have it be shared seamlessly with LUX employees, partners and customers. Now we are assured we will always have access to our data, it is protected with antivirus and phishing software and LUX can conduct business anytime and anywhere in the world thanks to the BHD network protecting our data.
