Shoppers Drug Mart

Leaving a one star review because Shoppers/ Loblaws have been price gouging, citing inflation, and tacking on an extra $20 to our bills every few weeks for the last year all while making record profits. If you're also tired of it consider leaving a one star review as well at this or your local shop. Feel free to copy and paste the text if needed.

You're encouraged to call ahead to refill an rx but then you call and no one picks up the phone. I waited a 1/2 hr and hung up. This is by far the worst Shoppers...Their Pharmacy is poorly managed. No one seems to know what the other one is doing. I understand the nature of customer service and how things can get busy but I've had too many bad experiences at this location...too many to mention. It's too bad. We deserve better. To management: Please don't write me back to tell me you're sorry about my experience. Just do something about it. You've had many complaints !!! One star reviews don't lie.

They are clearly VERY short staffed - every single time I call the pharmacy I wait on hold for almost 30 minutes or the call will eventually just drop me from hold. This is a pretty basic task - being able to answer a call from paying customers. PLEASE hire more people to answer the phones and assist customers!

The pharmacy is a nightmare. Waited a full half hour PAST my appointment time while the employee who was supposed to administer my Covid test searched for lost paperwork that other customers were waiting for. Amidst the chaos, the staff had seemingly completely forgotten me or they were willfully ignoring me. When I finally had my appointment and then retrieved the paperwork that I needed, most of the vital information was either misspelled or incorrect. Avoid this location at all cost. I'm stunned by the poor, inattentive and disorganized service. EDITED TO ADD: Shoppers, do better. Rather than copying and pasting the same response to the litany of poor reviews, you should take action to correct the unacceptable service at this location. The burden to fix this shouldn't be placed on the customers. Do something.
