He is actually a nerd immigration lawyer, don't even know the updated information posted on immigration office's website, consulting with very bad attitude as well. Ask you to pay $300 and actually give you no suggestion. Even no receipt....

I had the pleasure to work as an articling student for Steven. During my time as an articling student, I assisted Steven and Alice, Steven's Legal Assistant, on a variety of case files ranging from Federal Court Judicial Reviews to Constitutional Challenges to Criminal Defence. As an articling student with Steven , I was exposed to a wide variety of law that I might not have been exposed to articling with another law firm. As an articling student with Steven, I gained experience in the many processes of Criminal and Immigration Law. I participated in client intakes, document reviews, evidence reviews, the creation of legal memos and letters, and court preparation. This experience helped prepare me for the realities of legal practice in Criminal and Immigration Law. An interesting aspect of Steven's practice is that he specializes in both Criminal and Immigration Law. Few lawyers practice both Criminal and Immigration law. This is significant as Criminal and Immigration Law often intersect. For example, a criminal conviction can impact an individual's Permanent Residency Status in Canada. It is important for a Criminal Lawyer to understand any potential immigration implications for their clients. My experience working with Steven educated me to how different areas of the law intersect and how it is important for lawyers to understand how a legal issue for a client may impact other areas of a client's life. One cool thing about working with Steven was that he is respectful of his articling students' abilities and talents.
