This is the absolute worst clinic and I regret ever going here. Every interaction with this clinic was full of severe incompetency, carelessness, and neglect. I actually shared details of my terrible experience with the owner who either was genuinely surprised to hear of her clinic's practices (major red flag), or pretended to sympathize with me so I wouldn't write this review or report them to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons. She even refunded my appointment fees because of how terrible everything I told her was. I was ready to let go and move on until today, when I had to pay for this dental clinic's incompetence. This clinic's dentist's job was to complete 3 fillings. He couldn't find the nerve to freeze my back tooth. He proceeded to inject me with so much anesthesia I was frozen to my forehead and eyes. He actually told me he couldn't give me more freezing, but then proceeded to give me more. Despite that, he still couldn't freeze the tooth, but blamed it on me being anxious. He then put in a temporary filling in that tooth, which started falling out the same evening. And, during all of this the dental assistant seemed amused and literally laughed at me - the most unprofessional behaviour. I felt humiliated. He then completed two other fillings, or so I thought. Today I learned the tooth sensitivity that started after that day was because he did not correctly do one of the fillings that day. I had to get it taken out and redone today. That means of the 3 fillings he was to do that day, only one was done right. That's a 33% success rate for the most traumatizing dental appointment I've had. He was kind and I wanted to like him, I really did, but his incompetency has caused me so much distress. My jaw couldn't open right for 3 weeks. Another medical professional told me my joint had moved from this dental trauma. Transferring full dental records (which have false statements in them, by the way) to my new dentist was extremely frustrating, and only completely done after I said I'd report the clinic to RCDS and post publicly about my experience. I myself witnessed staff pushing unnecessary appointments to clearly uncomfortable patients because "insurance covers it, so why not?". This is the tip of the iceberg - Google Reviews are too short for me to get into the rest. I hope my review won't be responded to with confidential patient information like other negative reviews have been - this is also against the dentists' code of ethics.

All the staff at D on D dental are very pleasant. Ana my hygienist was so gentle and kind. Dr Tarik took his time and did a very thorough complete exam and went over details on my overall health. I had never had an exam this thorough at a dental office in my life. Thanks for taking good care of me.
