Mandelcorn

Except excellent surgical skills and extensive experience, Dr. Mandelcorn is courteous, very responsible. My left eye has a complicated history: in 2017, it has a cataract surgery in Winnipeg and had a lens implanted in. In last summer, the implanted lens was fallen down, the eye cannot see things. I went to TWHs emergency room; luckily, I met Dr. Mandelcorn. He arranged an earliest surgery taking the broken lens out and putting a new one into the eye. The surgery was successful; the version started coming back. But it might be the reason I didnt rest well (I did exercises and gardening as I thought the eye was recovered); or because of my age (65); the side effective happened, first was retinal detachment then macular hole. Dr. Mandelcorn did surgeries to fix my problems. He also referred me to a glaucoma doctor and a corner doctor as he found my eye also has corner problem and potential glaucoma. I have met many doctors in Ontario in last 20 years; Dr. Mandelcorn is the best one.

Probably the best experience this far with the multiple eye surgery procedures Ive had. Dr E Mandelcorn and his staff have done their best so far and Ive couldnt be happier.

From Dr. E Mandlecorn himself to his office staff and everyone in between. Superb !! !Friendly, courteous and patient. Three surgeries and a bunch of check ups and never a hitch. I would recommend Dr. Mandlecorn to anyone that needs any sort of eye care.

Extremely slow service blamed on new computer system. Be prepared to set aside the entire day and wait HOURS before being checked in, then HOURS after the testing to speak to the doctor. Cancel your other plans and be prepared to spend the whole day here. Unacceptable wait time.

Dr Mark Mandelcorn and the staff at D K Johnson Eye Institute are amazing. I ended up there through the Emergency area of Toronto Western Hospital. The doctor came in on a Saturday and assessed my vision loss (detached retina) and began treatment immediately. He is very empathetic and descriptive of the procedures, which took away any anxiety. He has been accurate every step of the way and I am eternally greatful for having my vision restored. I honestly thought I was losing my eye. Thank you all for making this difficult time easier and making me healthy again. God bless you!
