Never have I seen such bizarre behavior from doctors. A phone consultation rather than an in person appointment? And it never actually takes place. Save yourselves the headache and please look elsewhere.

I usually only review places when I want to give them 5 stars, to help support their business. But I've been given such a runaround by Dr. Ho's clinic that unfortunately I have to share about it. It's been an administrative nightmare, and I'm struggling to understand how they can be so disorganized and waste patients' time like this. I've spent over two months trying to just get my initial phone consultation with Dr. Ho. I can't speak to the quality of her medical services because I haven't had a chance to encounter them yet. My timeline of events so far has looked like this: - Feb. 28 my doctor sends the referral to Dr. Ho's clinic - Mar. 14 Dr. Ho's clinic calls me to schedule a phone consultation for April 6 - Apr. 5 Dr. Ho's clinic calls me asking to reschedule the appointment because Dr. Ho now has a meeting at that time. They offer me Apr. 7, which is a holiday, and I will be unavailable. So they reschedule me to the next available day, May 4 (another four weeks). - May 4 I wait 45 minutes to hear from Dr. Ho. I call the clinic to ask about it. They say that they had tried to call me the day prior to remind me about the appointment, but that my number was disconnected (I guess their protocol is to then decide that the appointment with the patient is not happening??). I ask which number they were calling. They were calling the wrong number, off by one digit. Even though they had called me successfully in the past and my correct number was in the referral. They could have tried harder to track it down. I tell them the correct number and that I have been waiting to hear from Dr. Ho. They say she is not in the office but they will see if she is available. Later they call me again to say she isn't available and they reschedule me to May 11. I say okay, but now that I've been bumped twice, this needs to not happen again. They say of course of course. - May 9 the clinic calls me to ask if we can reschedule the appointment to May 12 because Dr. Ho has a meeting at the same time as my scheduled call. I say no, I will be out of town that day, and I have already been bumped twice, so can Dr. Ho please move her meeting instead. I'm now waiting to hear back from them. They seemed to not have any memory of promising me last week that this would not happen again. Depending on what I hear back this week, I may have to simply ask my doctor to refer me somewhere else. This is no way to treat a patient. I'm afraid that I will have to suggest to my doctor that he no longer refer patients to this specialist. I can't wait all year to get the healthcare I'm seeking. The administrative staff have not been pushy or mean, but they need to be more competent and diligent. They clearly have not kept track of how many times they have bumped me, because I have to keep reminding them.

Dr. Harmony Ho is lovely, but the reception staff are unbelievably rude and unorganized. I've never had such a bad reception experience in my life. Medical facilities need to have staff that are kind and have even a fraction of empathy.
