Last year Dr. Elfassy caught my cancer in a routine painless colonoscopy. He was direct in our discussion afterward and referred me immediately to a surgeon, then it was on to Princess Margaret for chemo and radiation. Everything was managed very quickly. I am now N.E.D., no evidence of disease. He helped save my life and I am beyond grateful to him. His old receptionists Marcia and Dori were exceptional and helped me a great deal. Now they're very sadly retired. His new receptionist has huge shoes to fill and it's a learning curve, if SHE COULD AT LEAST PICK UP THE PHONE, that would be a good start ;-). I would recommend him without hesitation.

The care I have received from Dr. Elfassy has been the best! He is always on the cutting edge of the latest research in his field and has always demonstrated the knowledge and agility to offer solutions to any problem I have faced with my disease. He is compassionate, thoughtful, and professional. I would recommend his care to anyone I care about, knowing that they would be in the very best hands.

Ive been dealing with Dr. Elfassy for about a year and a half now. I will say he is a good doctor and this review is not directed towards him. This is for his staff who are nothing short of rude and unhelpful. And let me just say I am not one to leave negative reviews EVER. However this has just gone on too far. Trying to get a follow up appointment with him will take you months, even if its serious good luck trying to get a hold of him. I have been dealing with serious health issues for the last year and a half and his staff (Paulina I believe her name is) have made it so incredibly hard to get a hold of him. After confirming an appointment they will cancel on you saying that they didnt hear from you however I have proof that I have called on my end to confirm my appointment and left messages. Its been months and I cant even get a refill on my prescription for my medication. Can you imagine that? Terrible secretaries who dont care if you lose your appointment even though you have confirmed your appointment with them. If you really care about your health, do yourself a favour and find a Doctor who has proper staff taking care of their bookings. Remember, this is your HEALTH, and these secretarys could care less.
