Otis Elevator Company

Fluctuating invoice amounts despite a service contract that says I should be charged otherwise. Suddenly attempting to charge me a fuel surcharge despite a service contract being in place for years prior. Wont respond to my letters asking to provide legal authority to charge outside of the service contract and the fact that they have not set foot on my property to service anything for over 2 years. Otis is coming off as very scammy. *they "waved the fuel charge" but in reality they knew they didn't have a legal leg to stand on when concerning this charge and it was clear that I was gearing up for judicial escalation if they wanted to go further with this absurdity.

Terrible service in our small (5 floors )condo building. Elevator keeps breaking down and Otis cant identify the problem. Also they did not check to see that the elevator phone and alarm were working. They werent. So far the elevator has stalled twice with people stuck inside.

The elevator at my apt building has been down for half a year now, with Otis servicing it pretty much weekly now. I cant say I know a lot about elevator servicing but it doesn't seem like Otis does either. I would go with a different company.

Simply the worst elevator company out there. I don't recommend them.
