Aston Carter

I previously worked with Aleksa Stojic. Aleksa has a tendency to ghost my communication attempts for weeks at a time then randomly call or email. He is very unprofessional and unreliable. I do not suggest wasting your time with Aston Carter especially if Aleksa is the recruiter you are contacted by. He is rude and will waste your time.

Aston Carter are a very employee centric organization. As their contract worker I've found them very caring as they would proactively reach out to inquire about I'm feeling about the assignment, they would make efforts to show they care and are here for us. Wish them the best!

Recruiter and his manager went crazy and kept blame me when I turned their tentative offer due to faild negotiation on the rate. I told them straightly that I would accept the offer and cancel all the other scheduled interviews if the rate of $xx can be provided. They kept pushing me to accpet their offer while offering a rate lower than I expected to make a immediate decion. During the time of struggling with taking it or not, another offer came with a better rate. After I told them the situation and explained that I would accept another offer instead of theirs. They kept blaming me saying how wrong I was by changing my mind, how wrong I was by holding two tentative offers on hand, how wrong I was by starting a lower rate with them and requiring a match later, Rediculous.

Aston Carter recruited me, they found me on LinkedIn and reached out to me, told me what I wanted to hear for 3 weeks, put me through three separate interviews with a company they were trying to get me hired on with, calling me daily, keeping me updated and when the company decided to go another way, Aston Carter showed their true colours and what it was all about in the end... their commission. No one reached out to talk to me directly about the negative news, just sent an email and an excuse about all day meetings "suddenly appearing" in their calendar so they could not actually speak to me. Even though the day prior the recruiter said he would be available. It is fine in the end, I am not bitter about not getting the job, these things happen, but I am upset that for three weeks they acted like they were my BFF and then with no chance of getting that commission cheque they show no interest in speaking to me like a professional, potentially leaving the door open to work with each other in the future. Nothing. They completely cut off that "personal" touch at the very end when they deliver difficult news, like I did not even exist. I even reached out to the recruiter after he sent the email, who I thought was working for me and over the course of three weeks thought we had developed a rapport enough to actually call me like he had dozens of time previously, but nothing, I was completely ghosted. Proving that unless there is a pay cheque in it for them they are completely unprofessional and do not care about the person behind the commission. I will NEVER work with this company again! To be treated this way is completely unprofessional and insulting.
