The agent kept snickering when talking to me, which was rude and scary. The job description he sent was too abstract with just a few sentences. He asked me to do a formal interview with his colleague first. He was not able to further elaborate the position details, then how can I prepare for the interview? not helpful at all... waste my time ----------- [Update: finally got a new job with a decent pay by working with another job agency] The formal interview mentioned above was totally a garbage. The agent basically filled in a candidate file at the so-called interview with 95% of the answers which can be filled if the agent can spend 5 min on reviewing the resume.... Wordless To be honest, I really do not think most of the agents have a good/deep understanding of the jobs/daily work of the positions they are providing and/or items candidates put in the resume. Not a problem. Other agents would schedule a coffee meeting to try to understand me more, including personalities, my working experience, career interests, etc. This agent asked me to use only ONE sentence to summarize all the four projects I did for my last job. I said I cannot because those projects were quite different. Then the agent said he would do it and even not let me explain the projects to him first. At this moment, I felt hopeless and did not want to talk anymore. The agent just wanted to kill time so asked me to sit with him to fill out the garbage profile. Also, the agent asked my salary expectation during the very first phone call and told me there was a good opportunity. During the 'interview', he told me that regarding to my working experience, the top rate they can provide is lower than the minimum of the range I provide. Then what's point to drag me down to this meaningless interview? Maybe it's a ok or good company, but the agent I dealt with definitely does not work professionaly.

Watch out for IFG!! 1st they told me the wage was negotiable and they purposely lowered the wage so I could get more chance of getting hired. After I learned from other peers from other agencies that i was UNDERPAID. And lastly, they accuse me of ignoring emails, they started to squabble me like I was a kid and delayed my paycheck! Now Im stuck for 6 months with an underpaid job and an unprofessional agency.
