Next-Steps Employment Centre

Hello! Let me share my experience with Next-Steps Employment Centre, which is situated in Gerrard Square Shopping Centre. I was provided with all necessary information to continue my job search - like workshops, job fairs, list of employers in my field, educational courses, etc. The employment advisor, Allison KT, gave me a personal feedback on my CV and advice on how to find a job in Canada. The only thing that was helpful was they provided me with funds to purchase work boots. But they are not closing file so I'm not able to go to another place to get help finding a job. They really did nothing to help me find a job.

Friendly consultants with helpful resources. If you are ready to work towards your goals - these guys can be really helpful. Highly recommend to take all possible workshops while searching for a job - even if you don't think they are 100% relevant to you. I got my employment with the support of this centre and after a year of contract work I was offered a permanent role. Good luck everyone!

I had the wonderful privilege to get in touch with Linda Martel, Rogers Mcintosh from Riverdale Branch of Next steps employment centre and they were really helpful and proactive in processing my requests. This kind of support means a lot. Thanks to the whole team who works so hard to support people like us!
