"ATTENTION PLEASE!" YMCA has nothing to do with good ethics. Run by a a bunch of losers. Head office has no tendency to solve poor management poblem at local Y's. If you thinking to donate or to join local memberships as to a government run communities , THINK AGAIN! Greedy irresponsible managers will not just take your fun and also destroy you mentally! Central y and bayview y general mangers does not take responsibilies for their role. they think they own the damn place!!!!

Has anyone really looked at the senior structure of this organization? It's so top heavy that it's ridiculous. As a staff person, I'm being told constantly by my "leaders" how it's budget budget budget! and how we don't have the budget for certain things like a decent compliment of support staff. Right! We don't have staff to cover basic centre needs but we have money to promote people to yet ANOTHER SVP title. Seriously, look at how many SVPs this place has. The job compensation model is a joke for 95% of the staff in the organization. The top richest 5% gets to tell the other 95% that there's no budget. Gimmie a break. My centre was sold recently and I'm probably going to be out of a job in 5 years, but by that time we'll probably have another 20 SVPs.
