I was grateful for the settlement that Stephen Wolpert negotiated on my behalf but what ensued turned into a feeding frenzy amongst ALL lawyers involved in my case. In fact, after I received my settlement, I was invoiced a significant sum over and above what Whitten & Lublin had already received directly from my former employer to cover the cost of my legal fees. If youre fortunate to receive a settlement, make sure your agreement is structured so that all funds are payable in-trust to your lawyers firm. Do not rely on your former employer to pay you directly. Remember, You dont pay if we dont win. is a marketing strategy used by lawyers to generate business. Lawyers dont work for free.

I would like to start this review by thanking Simone Ostrowski and her assistant Mikaela Pacitto. They assisted me during one of the hardest periods of my life. Simone was extremely professional, empathic and she was a fighter. She displays exceptional negotiating skills and conducts herself with the utmost professionalism. During one of the hardest periods of my life, I went from feeling extremely hopeless to feeling like a winner. I will always remember Simone as a key figure in my career journey. She advocated for me and gave me a voice during one of the most vulnerable periods of my life. I never imagined I would require an employment lawyer. I was content with my job, highly regarded, and exceeded my duties. Being terminated without cause, out of the blue, without a chance to even say goodbye to my co-workers. I can only describe the experience as extremely hurtful. I felt insulted by the severance I was offered, and the manner in which I was terminated.
