I can't imagine our wedding without Joanna by our side every step of the way. She made our lives so much easier and ensured everything turned out perfectly! If you are looking for someone who is responsive, responsible, and who will work hard to make sure no details are overlooked, you will not regret bringing Carmen on to be your wedding or event planner. We hired Carmen to be our wedding planner immediately after our civil ceremony back in October 2020. Fast forward two years, two delays, and one baby later, Carmen delivered a spectacular wedding celebration with our family and friends in the summer of 2022. Throughout the two years leading up to the celebration, Carmen kept in touch with us and kept my husband and I on track with all the elements that required attention and progression. I am especially grateful that Carmen was able to introduce amazing vendors across a variety of price points during the process, it is so important as budget begin to accumulate that you have a trusted advisor to guide you through vendor selection and helping manage expectations for the quality of service at various price points. Overall - Carmen is someone that I trust wholeheartedly during the wedding planning process and I had zero ounce of doubt that Carmen and her team would come through to deliver the wedding of my dreams. We hired Carmen for our 2022 wedding. We met with three wedding planners before deciding to go with Carmen due to her immense experience. We initially were looking for partial planning but decided to go with the full planning service. Carmen is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to wedding planning, from vendors to organization to family dynamics. Carmen gave us so many great recommendations on venues and vendors based on the style we were looking for and our budget. She had great relationships with the vendors and I believe that that added to the smoothness of our wedding. Prior to the day, she developed a written out plan with notes and directions on what would be happening. She took us through the plan and answered any questions that we had. She also reassured us about the day. On the day of, she was well prepared with her assistant and addressed any issues that came up. She was very attentive and present. I highly recommend Carmen! She's the best in the business.

We worked with Carmen on our summer 2022 wedding which hosted 170 guests at the Steam Whistle Brewery. We went with the full planning package and are so glad we did, Carmen and her team played a huge role in the planning of the wedding. We really appreciated her experience and insights on how to navigate the various options (as with this venue, everything is basically being it on yourself, so lots of decisions to make!) and on how to make it as seamless as possible. With so much demand for anything wedding related post-COVID, Carmen helped us understand all our options and what things we should focus on and which would have the biggest impact on guest experience. My wife had a very specific vision for the day and Carmen really made all the pieces fall into place perfectly. She was always available and willing to go the extra-mile to make things easier on us. On our wedding day, Carmen and her team were instrumental in coordinating all the different parties and in making the day as stress free as possible. My wife is English and I am Chinese born Canadian and it was important that our wedding incorporated aspects from both cultures. Carmen did a great job helping us navigate the various traditions and norms, and guests from all backgrounds really enjoyed the wedding. We were especially grateful for her help with the tea ceremony, which was intimate and beautiful. Carmen was even kind enough to help get decorations, the tea-set and help my wife find a Chinese wedding dress. We have received so many compliments on our wedding from our friends and family and are so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Carmen. Thanks Carmen and team!
