No plans to aquaint patients when Dr.s go on holiday. You kind of have to jump through a hoop and get past the bias of others first and be patient..

Dr. Jim has been my gp for a number of years, kind caring and does not rush the patients.

Dr. Mawji has been my GP for a couple years now and one of the most kind and caring doctors one could ask for. This low rating is not for Dr. Mawji but rather the one rude receptionist I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. I had called earlier in the day to inquire about emergency copper IUD insertion for emergency contraceptive, to which the first receptionist I spoke to informed me there was no availability that day, but I would be able to see a nurse practitioner the next day. I gladly booked the appointment, but was later left a voicemail saying it needed to be re-scheduled. When I returned the call I spoke with a different receptionist that said I would need a consult with Dr. Mawji first before receiving the IUD, and that the nurse practitioner only did hormonal IUD's. I informed her I needed a copper IUD as this was an emergency contraceptive situation. This receptionist responded that she has never heard of that before and said she did not have any appointments within the 7 day timeframe. I understand lack of availability, but denying something simply because you have lack of knowledge regarding it? GOOGLE IS FREE AND QUITE EASY TO USE. Its unfortunate that Dr. Mawji has left the Bloor Medical Clinic she used to be based at. The front desk at Taddle Creek is completely rude and off-putting, making it incredibly hard to see her. They seriously need to do, and be better.
