My husband and I did a fair amount of research in trying to find an impartial financial planner, getting quotes from several firms and we were very pleased with our choice of Novel Financial (Eric). We realized we needed someone to help with our financial future and balancing our investments for better returns and also identifying tax implications that we were unaware of. Eric provided us with an excellent action plan that we're currently working our way through. We also really appreciated the amount of time he spent over phone calls and emails explaining the necessary steps and decisions we needed to make and financial aspects we didn't altogether understand in a clear and approachable manner. Going into this process, I had little to no knowledge about finances and these things always made me uncomfortable. Eric walked us through the plan he built for us and everything made sense. The best part is we have an action plan of simple steps we can take now and in the years to come. We have the big picture, we have control over our financial future, and we also know where to go for help if we need it. We hired Novel for an investment review and estate plan. We had our money mostly in cash/savings, and were very new to the world of investments. We now have an understanding of our risk tolerance, and have each opened our own brokerage accounts. Thanks to the coaching from Novel throughout the process, we are now well equipped to buy and sell ETFs on our own. This will enable us to make sure that we put our money to work and maximize our savings for our young children's education. Before working with Novel, we didn't realize the implications of not having wills and power of attorneys in place. We are now confident that our children will be taken care of if anything were to happen to us.

My finances were in dire need of a review and reset and Novel Financial was recommended to me by a trusted contact. Eric is very knowledgeable, approachable, methodical and patient, and took time to really understand my current situation, risk tolerance, needs, and goals. Then he went and made a brilliant and easy-to-follow road map (recommendations, of course, as he can't predict the future), and again took the time to walk through it and answer questions. And, I really appreciate that he has followed up multiple times to be sure I was comfortable in the implementation phase.
