They offer a very good quality and range of flowers (they have sunflowers in March!) but theyre a bit pricey. The staff is very nice, and the compositions very creative!

Not professional even dont know each plants name. Charged me 30 dollars for one 12 dollars plant, and removed the price sticker before I leave. Have no time to argue.

They are open late and can do arrangements upon walk-in, which I appreciate. They also wrap quite nicely with pretty materials/papers. However, they started by telling me that each rose was $10 and I only asked for 4 roses to which they added some random leafy sticks, then at the cashier I'm informed it's $100 with no account for what the other $60 is about. I think they were scamming me because when I went in they asked me for a price range and silly me said up to 100 (the flowers were a gift for my mother). Not only this, but after cashing me out they immediately replenished their jar with tightly closed, non-decaying roses, and when I got home I peered into the wrappings to see they gave me their oldest, slightly browning and completely open roses. Definitely not worth the 7 hours of work needed to pay for them :'). I had intended to go to tiny flower down the street since I usually go there but unfortunately they were closed. I came here to Flowers On Bay open to switching over as a customer for my future flower needs, but I think I'll stick to my old place.

Some reviews complain about the prices but for bouquets, the prices at Flowers on Bay are very comparable to other flower shops in the area. Bouquets are expensive things! Fresh flowers need to be transported and kept pristine, which is difficult and pricey. Then, you're also paying for the knowledge and experience it takes to arrange the bouquet, as well as the quality materials (ribbons, coloured tissue, etc.) they use to wrap everything. The lovely employees have always been warm and welcoming whenever I've visited. I love that they will work with your budget to make you something within your price range. We got a small Mother's Day bouquet last year that was within our budget and looked amazing as well. The recipient said the flowers lasted quite a while, too. What I do agree is overpriced are the pots and planters. I bought a very small, squared glass pot for like $17 which was :/ but also I understand that the store is in a very nice location on Bay so rent is probably significant. Overall, a very wonderful local flower shop. Just don't visit if you have unrealistic expectations of how much a floral arrangement should cost.
