Caviar Direct

I had family visit from out of town and decided to take them to the market. We walked by Caviar Direct, and had to stop. Amazing product!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. 10/10, will be a repeat customer.

Frustrating experience as a first-time caviar buyer. Staff member wasn't remotely helpful or educational, along with being very brash. When I asked for recommendations as a first timer, he just pointed at one of the many tins saying "you have to get the best, it's like champagne, you just have to get the best one". I clarified and asked what a good starter caviar would be. He just reasserted that "there is no such thing, just get the best". I regretfully purchased from here as I was still interested in trying caviar. But will be certain to go elsewhere next time. Giving two stars as they seemed to have a wide selection. I wouldn't have been as frustrated with the poor customer service if I was purchasing something inexpensive, but for something the price of caviar I would expect better. Steer clear if you aren't knowledgable on caviar.

If I was giving a review of the product only I bought it would be a 5 plus star. But staff dont seem to value the customer spending under $40. I know everything is expensive here, Ive completely enjoyed the Indian Candy as they call it and other cured salmon but any time I try and order 25$ I get the eye-roll well if you want for $45 we have these vacuum packed ones that are a better value. Ok but I consider this a treat and even spending $25 is more than enough for one person. Id love to ask about caviar because Ive never had it before and have always been curious but Im sure Id need to approve a credit report to even ask about the pricing, so Ill just continue to feel like a pauper and enjoy a product Ive never been able to find in a comparable quality anywhere. Sometimes money does buy better but treating customers like humans also counts. Update August 5. Based on the ownership responding and corresponding I am changing this review to a 4/5

Theres no doubt about the product however the customer service person was incredibly rude. I show up and I ask him if hes got any salmon caviar, he turns around completely annoyed and angry as if he is being forced to do his job. I ask for the product, he says you have to pay with cash, when I see a POS machine right on his countertop. But I dont want to start an argument with him so I literally go grab some cash from the ABM and pay for the goods. I dont understand how they can let someone like that work for them there. Its really disappointing when the whole customer experience is completely ruined by some twisted attitude.
