Rowe Farms - Queen West

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had going to a butcher shop. The butcher himself is extremely knowledgeable, helpful (he will recommend an alternative location if he doesn't have what you're looking for), and really passionate about his craft. . As an extra added bonus, he is a gifted storyteller and exceptionally entertaining (we had a little chat about Italy and food). His staff were all lovely as well, really kind and genuine. I absolutely LOVE Rowe Farms! Overall it is my favourite store in the neighbourhood. Dairy & eggs are high-quality, especially the organics. Great selection of fermented foods (kimchi, kombucha, kefir). Red meat is fresh and grass-fed options exist (although I am not sure about grass-finished options). Highly recommend the specialty items such as the house liver pate as well as cinnamon bangers and coffee-rubbed bacon. The whole staff are welcoming and extremely attentive - Greg & Max even went through the trouble of chasing down specific items we've requested before which goes to show the incredible character of the business and its customer service! I'm grateful for Rowe Farms and wish them the best! - Happy Customer

SUPERB customer service! Above and beyond. I am so happy there is a rowe farms close by now. Chef Rohan and staff are welcoming, genuine and exceed your expectations when it comes to customer care. I had a huge order request which they were able to accommodate quickly and smoothly. Chef communicated clearly beforehand multiple times to ensure I was satisfied. bought a rotisserie chicken here for the first time today. although it was a bit pricey (slightly over $20), it was one of the best rotisserie chickens I've ever had. the gravy was also delicious and a nice option not available everywhere. my only regret is not trying this place sooner - we are moving to a different neighbourhood this weekend!!
