I love this little shoppe. I have only been here a couple of times, as I live across town, however my experience here has always been lovely. I enjoy their selection of a variety of Whole Food goods. They've got a small bulk section, some cookware, some yoga and wellness, supplements, pantry/shelf staple items, baking needs, dairy and refrigerated items, bodycare, produce, a small refillery station, a counter to purchase some fresh sandwiches and morning baked goods and then some. They are pretty much your one stop shoppe in the Gerrard Street, lil' India neighbourhood for all your Natural and close to the Earth needs. I went in today because I hadnt been in in a while and wanted to see what was what. I scored some fresh and local fiddleheads- yes they are back in season people! Some coconut curry cashews- delicious! And some Thyme seeds for gardening season. I also had a very real conversation with the owner and sole proprietor. The topics covered were refreshing- mostly we talked about the sad predicament the economy is in for local businesses. How it really is. When its easy to have candid conversations about important things with people it truly makes me wanna support them more. As its always nice to find common ground & connection with others. Something that seems rarer these days to come by- authenticity! I think this shoppe is so worth the 40mins bike ride! And will definitely return again sooner rather than later.
