I've gone through a lot of hairdressers since moving to Toronto, all supposedly high-end, good quality, reputable, etc. But none compare to the level of detail and genuine care and attention that Lela has given my hair, ensuring it suits my face shape and skin colour. I got a balayage, haircut, and blow-dry (PLUS colour correction because my hair was a mess) and somehow I was done in less than 3 hours. The hype of this salon is definitely real and worthy! I usually go to larger salons with multiple stylists, but decided to give this local Weston business a try. Im so glad I did. My hairstylist (Im sorry, I didnt catch/remember her name!!) was super kind, sincere, and honest. In other salons Ive been to, Ive asked for opinions because I truly needed the input, and was mostly dismissed. Not here! She told me truthfully what would work for me considering my face shape, maintenance level, and style. The one issue I had is that I seemed to have had an allergic reaction to the products they used (my scalp was super itchy and painful that day), but thats not the salons fault! Ill just ask for a different product to be used next time :) Very reasonably priced, too. Im very happy to have found this wonderful salon for my hair needs and hopefully will use it permanently. Appointments have to be booked a bit in advance but it was so worth it and Im glad I waited. I highly recommend Beyond the Chair to anyone!
