The staff is friendly and gentle with your hair but I would not recommend this salon if you have 4b/4c hair. They specialize in curly hair but 4b/4c hair is not curly it is coily and or kinky hair. I've been here 3 times and I've learned my lesson. I really wanted to love this salon as it is downtown but they just do not have the skills and the resources to style my coily hair. A couple examples: The leave in conditioner they use kept my hair super dry, they didn't use a detangling brush to detangle my hair, and they don't have heat protectant if you want to blow dry your hair. I strongly recommend a different salon for those that have 4b/4c hair!!

I went for a cut and a shampoo. For 175.00 including tip. I ended up with an uneven cut. My hair has long pieces and short pieces all over. Its completely uneven and I cant wear it straight without going to get it redone somewhere else. I am disappointed with my experience and will not be going back. My suggestions is save your money. Its not worth the price! In response The only thing you can do for me is give me part of my money back, so I can get my hair fixed. My hair was butchered. One side is short in the back and the other side is long. It looks completely uneven. I am so embarrassed and I need to get my hair CHOP off to get it even. I am so angry for what that woman did to my hair. She should be a shamed to call herself a stylist. If you are willing to give me back half my money, then we can talk. As I will not let anyone in your salon touch my hair again! Service: Curly hair
