Evolve Hair Studio

I went to the Evolve hair Studio for the first time and had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Sierra to anyone looking for a skilled and attentive hairstylist. My hair desperately needed to be refreshed but I couldn't lose too much length because I am getting married in a few months and she carefully listened to my needs and did a beautiful job on my haircut. The salon was neat and had a great environment. All the staff were so welcoming!

Staff was friendly, but we came for a styling advice, that they claimed they can do. Unfortunately we were charged $30 for a we can do whatever you want type of advice. If I knew what we want, we wouldnt have come in the first place not cool

The manager of this place needs to be replaced. I had an appt yesterday with Emily (who is fantastic and I love btw). I've been coming to this place to get my hair done for 2-3 years almost now. Yesterday, I called in and asked them if I could reschedule a call because I was stuck at work. Unfortunately, they asked me to pay 50% of the FEES ($70) even for rescheduling. So, I asked them that I would try to make it. About at 5.00 PM (in downtown Toronto) is when I was trying to get an UBER to get to my 6 o'clock appt. I informed the manager that I am stuck in traffic and can get there by 6.30. She then mentioned that 6.30 is too late (which is fair) so i asked if i could kindly request an exception and ask her to waive the rescheduling fees. During the call, SHE CONFIRMED THAT I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED ANY CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING FEES and today i get an invoice to make a payment. Then, i called again TODAY to clarify and she legit gaslights me and said that she did not agree to waive all fees. AS A CUSTOMER WHO LOVED THIS place, i am just very disappointed and have asked her to cancel my any future appointments. SO BE CAREFUL!

I went in for a haircut and I was in a bit of a mood, I was feeling rather down and just wanted to get my hair cut and be out of there. Carolyn sat me down and took amazing care of me. She did a great job on my hair, answered all of my questions, and made me feel very special. I left feeling really great, my day had totally turned around. I highly suggest Carolyn, she's a perfectionist, an excellent professional, and she went above and beyond for me. It's very much appreciated and I will be coming back again!
