Emma is great!!! All the staff is friendly. The salon is very nice. Prices are reasonable. I wont be cutting my hair anywhere else.

I went to Qi Salon quite a few times before the pandemic and always had great service. My usual stylist, Nakisha, was skilled and knowledgeable of how to cut and style my tightly curled (3c) hair. Recently, I was going to a wedding and contacted Qi Salon to book an appointment for Nakisha to trim and style my hair for the wedding. When I called to book the appointment, I asked the person who answered the phone if Nakisha still worked there. She said yes, so I scheduled the appointment. However, when I got there, Nakisha wasn't there, and I wasn't offered an explanation for why she wasn't there. I was introduced to another stylist to do my hair, and it was the worst experience I've had at a salon. This stylist told me that she also has tightly curled hair that she'd straightened that day, but it was clear that she didn't know what she was doing. She was incredibly rough when brushing my hair. Instead of starting at the end of the hair and brushing to the scalp, she took the brush and just ripped through my hair. I lost at least 2 inches of my hair from her just brushing it. She also hit me in the face with the brush as she was quickly ripping through my hair, not watching where she was placing the brush. She also hit my head with the blow dryer several times when she was blow drying my hair. I asked for my hair to be styled so that it was slightly wavy at the ends, but what I ended up with was a poofy mess. I had to straighten/curl my hair on my own to fix it when I got home. Needless to say, I won't be going back to Qi Salon.

Friendly and efficient service. I went there to have my hair curled before an event and it was done beautifully and by a very kind and easy to chat with stylist. It was done quickly however I would have happily stayed longer as the environment was very comfortable.
