I met June for the first time today and I was extremely happy with how the appointment went. On top of giving me a great haircut, she also gave me a ton of information on how to take better care of my hair. I think I learned more about my hair from talking to June today than I have in the rest of my life combined. June has been my go-to for the last four years since I moved to the city - I trust her 1000% and she always takes my vague "I don't know, I need a change" in stride, only for me to walk away feeling 100% better about myself and my hair. Her joy, kind conversations, and incredible work were some very bright spots in all of the chaos of working in healthcare over the last few years, and I so appreciate her willingness to mask (or not) based on an individual's comfort level - during some parts of the pandemic she was one of the only services I trusted to help me keep my patients safe by following health & safety recommendations closely. Thank you for all you do, June, and for being forgiving of me and my hair when I forget your key lessons over and over and over again :)
