I had researched some traditional chinese medicine through the online portal of another herbal shop that was located at Spadina's Chinatown, so I knew what I was looking for. Yet I decided to pass by this place in East Chinatown since it was closer (2021/05/01). And I am glad that I did - their prices were much better! I am also somewhat fluent in Cantonese, so I was able to communicate and seek additional advice from the male specialist who served me at this place. If you are Occidental or not fluent in Chinese, don't fret as there is also a female specialist who can assist you. While I was here, she was chatting with an anglophone who had dropped by to say hello. I noticed that they also preprare their own common herbal soup mixes, so that's an alternative to the prepackaged ones at Asian grocery stores.
