- paid $300+ for one night. rooms are run down, half of outlets didnt work and bathroom was in bad shape. - room service doesn't exist even though the phones have a room service button and website advertises having availability of room service For $300 + / night, you can find by far better options in the area.

Rooms: We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go: museums, ferry terminal, restaurants. Clean. Well maintained. Staff efficient and pleasant. Walkability: We walked all the places we wanted to go. Food & drinks: Thirty restaurant was excellent. Breakfast buffet really good. Serving staff fantastic.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is definitely a highlight, situated conveniently in the heart of the city. It was easy to explore nearby attractions and find plenty of dining options within walking distance. However, I must mention that the rooms at the hotel are showing signs of age. While they were clean and well-maintained, the dcor and furnishings could benefit from a refresh. The outdated feel of the rooms was a minor drawback, but it didn't significantly affect the overall comfort of my stay. Despite the room condition, the staff was friendly and accommodating, providing good customer service throughout my visit. The hotel amenities, including the fitness center and on-site restaurant, were satisfactory and added convenience to my stay. If you're looking for a well-located hotel in downtown Toronto and can overlook the slightly outdated rooms, the Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto can be a suitable choice.
