Edit: Changed from 1 star to 3. Eugene from AC Furnace called and explained that they had referred my job to Michael as a subcontractor (I would have appreciated being made aware of this when they made the referral). He apologized on behalf of Michael and indicated they will change their process of referrals. Original: Michael cancelled two appointments - first time because "my truck battery is dead", second time because "I'm in traffic" (and wouldn't respond to my question as to why that would prevent the job from being done altogether, given it was 5pm (in May) and there was still more than 3 hours of daylight left). He then completely ghosted me after scheduling a third appointment (no show on the day of, no response to texts, wouldn't pick up calls). I think the job, which he quoted ~$400, was too small for him to care about (he scheduled it at the very end of a weekday the first two times, before finally scheduling it for a third time on a Saturday morning, and then didn't show up). Lack of professionalism aside, I wasn't even shown the basic common curtesy of letting me know that he did not intend to do the job so I could look elsewhere.

Eugene saved us when our furnace had to be shut off in January by another company for safety. He quickly and clearly explained our options and arranged for same day installation of a new furnace at a significantly lower price than the first company expected us to accept (or wait a week in the cold for a part). He was a pleasure to deal with and his team was great - courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. And most of all, we have heat! Eugene installed a furnace for me and he did an excellent job. Very professional and responsive. I contacted ACfuranceGTA after talking with and getting quotes from a bunch of big name companies and some small ones. I went with ACfuranceGTA GTA because they offered the Best price for the same brand and Eugene was very upfront and transparent. No hidden fees. After using their service, I am happy to say their service was best as well not just the price. I also refered ACfunaceGTA to a friend to and after dealing with Eugene and using using their service, my friend thanked me for saving him a ton of money and he was very happy with not just the money he saved but also the excellent service. Eugene was very responsive and provided straightforward quotes and info to coordinate his technician to do a small job the next day. The technician completed the job quickly and efficiently.
