They cast my jewellery in a more expensive alloy without asking. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication. When asking for the silver cast I was never told that they only cast in "premium" silver(apparently they used to cast in .925 too at some point, but got rid of that choice), which would have been nice to know considering that it wasn't something I wanted to cast my pieces in to begin with. I ended up spending over $100 extra on a casting job that I wanted done in a different alloy. Please communicate that this is the service your company provides. Some people might prefer taking their business somewhere where they can cast at .925, which is what I would have done. For me, as a person with very limited money to start a business every dollar counts. At least the pieces turned out and I can sell them for a premium...but this place really did leave a bad taste in my mouth because of the lack of communication. When I came to pick them up they gave me an "oh well" attitude when I communicated that they had been cast in the wrong alloy. No attempt to resolve the situation either.
