I have contacted Marcel the night before with a very prompt response for an emergency fix to hardwood floor damages to the house as we were giving the keys away to the new owners, as I understand that contractors in general are only interested on the big cash jobs and push away the little ones, I had no doubt that Marcel would come through with it, the very next morning before 8am, he was on route personally to look after the incident and fixed very professionally within a couple of hours. I have met many trades people through the years but can assure you that if you are looking for someone that is always prompt on providing an amazing service and care about customers, you most definitely need to call Contracting by us....I have referred Marcel to many people in the past and he always comes on top . I recently contracted Marcel for some renovation work in my home. From the first meeting with Marcel I knew that he was the guy for the job. A lot of contractors promise you the world and then fall through but Marcel gave me the confidence and belief that he could get what I wanted done on time and on budget. The renovations are done now and like their tagline says, they built my dream (home)! Marcel is very knowledgeable and can provide a number of alternate solutions to meet your needs and budget. I appreciate the fact that Marcel is very honest and will let you know if you are unreasonable with your budget or expectations - he does not over-promise and then under-deliver. He was not pushy and was extremely helpful throughout the process, treating the project as if it was his own home. I even had the pleasure of visiting Marcel's home on a weekend to take a look at some materials he had specially sourced for me. He replies to texts and calls throughout the day and at night, and even checked up on me when he was out of town during the project. I was given frequent updates so I never had to wonder. The project was completed on time and within budget as promised. Needless to say, Marcel will go the extra mile for you!

If you are looking for a General Contractor for your next home renovation project, look no further! Contracting by Us met and exceeded all our expectations. Marcel is committed to his clients and provides exceptional service. It took us 10 years to find someone we felt confident enough with to undertake the renovation of our home. From the initial meeting, we immediately felt like Marcel could deliver what we wanted. He took the time to meet with us, had us explain what we were looking to do, asked questions in order to get to know us and offered feedback and suggestions. He then prepared a detailed quote with the scope of work and a budget that worked for us (both timeline and dollars). We started with phase 1, a master suite renovation (which included the bathroom) in order to assess the quality of his work, upon completion we were so impressed that we then awarded him with phase 2, the renovation of our main floor, kitchen, second floor, and main bathroom. Marcel and his team were extremely professional, organized, clean, and the finishing was excellent. The quality of the work was never compromised, he treats your home as if it was his own. I was impressed that Marcel always brought in the trade experts required for the specific task. His crew are very loyal and complimentary of him noting that he does not accept anything but the best. Marcels attendance and punctuality were impressive. When he says he is going to do something, he does it. Through the renovation we came to realize that we found a true partner in Marcel, he was extremely well connected in terms of sourcing materials and products (even passing along discounts and savings available to him). He even went out with us in order to pick materials (he has a great eye for decor and design) and was always honest and upfront in order to set our expectations and deliver the best outcome for us. I can honestly say that through this process we made a great friend, he even provided each our kids with a personalized wall art gift for their bedrooms which they absolutely adore. Upon completion of the job Marcel checks in to ensure all is okay and if there are any required touch ups. Needless to say, he is always just a phone call away. Day or night he has always been very responsive and if unavailable he would contact us promptly.
