I've worked with Matt a couple of times - once on my way out of a company and once on my way in. As long as Matt is practicing, I won't go anywhere else Fast, professional and a highly approachable/accessible style. Highly recommend and would rate 6 stars if I could.

I contacted Matt in Aug 2020 as my severance offer from my firm was much less than the Canadian standards. My experience has been awful, I initially got the attention the case deserved however after a failed mediation attempt things went downhill. Clearly, Matt, despite my warnings about my employer, was hoping to settle this quickly and cash in a win however this was not the case. From that point on lawyers were not available and things stop progressing, discovery deadline were missed, I was shuffled from lawyer to lawyer without even the courtesy of a call to explain, advices from one lawyer to another were different and caused some rework. I was often told to settle for much less than I eventually got. Their strategy was erratic at best. And finally the bill came at about 15% higher than is should have. I contacted them to discuss and as usual got no answers back. I would strongly suggest to avoid this firm if you want results. I will be issuing a complaint to have the fee reviews.
