Was referred to Ruth Ambrose-she was very kind. However, she referred me to Cain Lamarre. I was seeking a lawyer who was familiar with C-92. This guy seemed ready to just assume me and we could not afford the legal fees (on the basis of us being Indigenous??). We tried reaching him repeatedly, but he never called, or emailed, instead he went through Ruth to let us know to go to legal aid! Then recommended another lawyer who I highly doubt would be effective and really care about relationship with clientele. In the I found me someone who will treat us with dignity. And yes I reported this. Just because we are Indigenous does not make us poor and doesn't make it ok to straight away assume we need legal aid. Smh.

I have been using Justin Jakubiak and his team, crazy good lawyer.....He is very responsive and you can tell he genuinely cares about my case.

Very bad service. When I tried to communicate, the lawyer and front desk ignored my phone calls. I tried to call 4 times and left voice messages in the morning and emailed 4 times, got NO replies at all. When I used my friend's phone to call, and obviously, they know my number but don't know my friend's number. You know what? The front desk lady picked up my phone within few seconds. They want me to handle my issues within two days. As I did not get any notice, and when I knew this issues, it only had two days left. I actively wanted to get my issue resolved. I explained it was my first time dealing with this and would like to know if there is other options. When they knew my attention to check if there were other options, they did not respond to me. However, I did need an important piece of information from the lawyer firm to complete the case. They forgot emailing that piece of information to me. I tried to contact, and they still kept ignoring me. As my time was very limit, I asked my friend to borrow his phone. I was able to talk to them within a minute after using a new phone number. Then, we can definitely knew the lawyer firm knew my phone number and ignored me on purpose. Please consider using this firm as their service attitude. They do not treat you as an client with respect!!! Very poor performance with unprofessional attitude. Be careful!!!!
