We saw the Ten of Toronto exhibition here (on until May 2023). It was incredible! Were tourists in the city, and weve been searching for a social history of the people of the city, who lives and lived here and what they got up to. This was exactly what we were looking for. It was so informative, and I loved the layout of the exhibit. I wish it was a permanent exhibition, as we havent found anything like this in the city. My only request would be a laminated map that visitors could look at as they go around the exhibit to visualise how the spaces overlap - as tourists we dont the neighbourhoods well enough! Thank you so much for finally giving some Torontonian social history!!

Interactive, yes. Waste of time, also yes. Thankfully we were in the neighborhood so we didnt have to go too far out of our way to visit. From the web site showcase the history, spaces, culture(s), architecture, and the people, that represent Torontos unique place in the world. Instead its just four simple displays in a tiny room. Three where you write out your thoughts on pieces of paper and either stick it on a map, into a paper machete heart, or in an envelope. The other is a poll on an iPad about what you like about Toronto. No history, culture, etc. Had a much better experience at Mackenzie House (even with the main house closed due to water damage).
