Today I had a gastroscopy done and I'm very impressed! Dr Tassis was amazing. He explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions! He was extremely professional, very polite, patient, caring and funny and made me feel at ease. Also, Amy, the lovely and understanding RN was superb as well as Pavi! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!

I took my breath test at this clinic since it's close to my place. The availability which I could book the test is not that great (only Thursday every week). But breath test may be not that common compared to blood or urine tests so I still can wait. My original appointment was cancelled one day before the appointment by the clinic but the clinic did their best to reach out to me and it was not a big deal for me to wait another week. Hard to park in the area unfortunately. The nurse was every considerate and nice. Somehow my doctor's office had trouble receiving the result from the clinic so I had to call the clinic multiple times asking the clinic to resent. The receptionist was supportive and tried her best to resent every time I called without any annoyance. However, the result seems like never to be received by the doctor's office after 1 month calling both the clinic and doctor's office so the clinic sent the result to my mail as an exception. I really appreciated that.

It is quite normal to be a bit apprehensive when you undergo an invasive examination such as colonoscopy. However, that was not the case when I went to the clinic on June 21 for a colonoscopy. The whole team including Dr. Orzech and the anesthesiologist, together with the nurses and the receptionists made my experience a breeze! I enjoyed looking at the monitor screen as the procedure went on and getting all the explanations from the doctor in real time. A big thank to everyone in the clinic! My rating: 5 out of 5. Some scary reviews here led me to leave one of my own, which I very seldom do. In my experience, the clinic was superb, from the beginning to the end. Polite and caring receptionists, patiently taking the time and making the effort to check everything is clear, explaining, making the extra step to ask the right questions. Wonderful nurses; attentive, caring, very hands-on. I got forms to fill upon arrival, then was called in before I was done. The nurse was not in the least impatient with me though; to the contrary, she helped me fill out the remaining forms. My procedure was done by Dr Tassis. He read very carefully my medical history, asking clarifying questions. Made sure I understood everything about my procedure, answered my questions. Suggested an extra procedure to be run in parallel, explained why it made sense. Correctly diagnosed an unrelated (as it proved to be) condition I've had for over a year. Came to check on me once the anesthetic wore off and I woke up. Phoned me with another checkup and recommendations a week later. I am grateful to the entire team of the Digestive Health Clinic, and cannot think of a single suggestion for improvement.

To be honest, I was quite nervous before my gastroscopy today after reading negative reviews here. But I must say, it all went great. The staff were great, the anesthetic guy was funny and understanding, and everything was just fine. One reason I don't give 5 star is because the paper I received with the results doesn't tell me much, and the procedure wasn't explained to me before I was sedated. I was encouraged to ask questions though, but since I researched the proceudre before, I already knew how it's done. After I woke up, I requested time with doctor, and she explained what they found, what I have to do next and so on. So not much initiative from the staff to explain things; If I wanted to know something, I had to ask. Other than that, much more pleasant experience than I expected.
