Sian Owen Physiotherapy

I started seeing Sian after surgery to my spine as a result of severe spinal stenosis. Sian has gradually and patiently helped to improve my walking and mobility. I no longer need walking poles or other assists and am able to move around more confidently with an improved gait. I have sent others to her but I particularly recommend her for neurological issues.

Sian's professional expertise has restored my confidence, mobility and independence post hip replacement. Now at 77, I am a confident, active senior. Thank You! Anne A second hip replacement in 2022. Once again Sians careful exercise program, encouragement and expertise means that in April 2023, I am back walking 3 km a day. I am active, confident and definitely not feeling 80!

I started seeing Sian for treatment after I had my stroke. I was looking for a nero-physio, a person who could help me deal the my physical deficits from the stroke. After one visit I knew I found the right person. Her guidance through my recovery and the emotional support I received aided in my healing. Being a very physical person, I have had multiple injuries and I have seen quite a number of physical therapist. I would have to say, Sian ranks at the top of that list. She knows her stuff! She explains how and why exercises need to be done along with a very detailed exercise plan. Sian, thank you very much for your guidance. I truly appreciated having you lead me through this very difficult event in my life.

I started seeing Sian for vestibular physio following a concussion I had been dealing with for 2 months. She was highly recommended by the St Mikes Head Injury Clinic, and I cant agree more! I called Sian on a Thursday afternoon and she was able to fit me in the following Monday which was amazing! After a thorough assessment she pinpointed what she thought was the problem and provided treatment. Truly magic! I saw an immediate improvement which was shocking. As a precaution she set up a follow up for the next week. Sian is attentive and kind during appointments and follows you closely via email after to see how you are doing. She is very knowledgeable and eager to share any information pertaining to your injury or treatment. I really appreciate how seriously she takes your health as well as the health of all of her clients in regards to COVID and infection control. I would highly recommend Sian for any type of physio, and I am grateful to have worked with her to get my life back on track after this concussion. Thankful to have a fantastic physio in my care team if I need any other assistance later.
