Annoying . . . . I reached out for a quote and was told the work I required was "out of the scope of their work". This is the problem with online quotes - pure miscommunication. I was willing to break the job up between contractors/trades, etc. but feel I was "passed on to the next guy" or that my job wasn't worth looking into/discussing further. They posted before and after photos of fencing which is exactly one of the projects I needed completed. It's too bad because I have a ton of stuff to complete on the inside of my home, as well, but wasn't given the opportunity to discuss further. Having to complete the online form and upload pics was too much of a hassle, especially for this old school gal. Adding 3 stars was purely because they have a decent reputation - didn't feel it was fair to rate low.

Jeremy from Fix-It Friend built, stained and installed beautiful wooden banisters for our home. One for the main stairway, and one for the stairway to the attic. It was custom work that he created for our tastes and to match the decor of our home. He was courteous, professional, and is very detail oriented. I'd definitely recommend his company and I'd definitely work with him again! Service: General construction

We bought a very pretty century old door that we didn't realize was delaminating, and needed a few other repairs as well. When we realized that we didn't have the skillset to repair and install it ourselves, we called FixItFriend. They came when they said they would, bringing all the tools they needed to get the job done. They were really friendly, and polite, took care to cleanup any mess they made, and took care not to damage any of our property. They were only here for a few days, but by the end, we feel as though they really are our friends. Thank you so much for restoring and installing our door!
