Was in here yesterday to send some money back home to Trinidad and Tobago. It was my first time ever doing such a task so I was clueless on how to go about doing it. I called this location on the phone first before coming in to ask questions etc. A rep by the name Alex, picked up and was beyond courteous in answering any and all of my questions I had. I went in to the store immediately and met with him. His customer service was amazing and assisted me in doing my first foreign money transfer! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience. I will be using this specific western union for all my future needs and recommending all my family and friends based on how pleasant the experience was. Thanks Alex!

A young female clerk did not know on which side of the Yonge street is this place located, when I was canvassing Western Unions over the phone. That should have been the red flag! Upon entering the premises I found myself in an empty store with the same female clerk frowning at me. After I specified my request to send money to Europe, she started asking me the common questions in a rude manner. She was able to locate both mine and the Receivers info in the system, and despite the fact that there were no other customers in the store, she acted as if I bothered her. I even handed her the info in writing to make sure that we are on the same page. Her male colleague condescendingly added: Europe is a continent... At that point, I reacted with: As university educated person, I am aware of it; I was hoping for a more festive atmosphere, especially as you have nothing else to do. I asked for the hand-written note back. My Christmas tradition of sending money home will be done from a different branch.
