Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre -Magnetic Resonance Imaging

I have been put on hold once, been cut off twice, I call back and I am always caller 1. If I am not hung up on , at the 7 minute mark a recording message that they are away from reception which is why I am getting this message. So they switched the message 7 minutes in. So far 19, 12, 7 now 17minutes. 55 mins and counting. The your call will be answered as soon as possible has become insulting. CEO you try and call! Anyone calling here needs an appt.not to lose and hour of time plus.

I have been on hold on 1 hour and 18mins just trying to speak to receptionist. 1 hour and 18 mins and still holding!! And the recording keeps saying im the first caller. How is this acceptable???

The reception and waiting area has a descent amount of seating and an extra area tucked in beyond the reception desk if more is needed. Things tend to be fairly on time and the staff can be helpful. The reception area is in the basement, just off the main hallway. If the reception desk is closed, there is a phone you can use to check in.

Had my MRI exam at Sunnybrook. Really nice and helpful staff. Professional and service oriented clerical staff and nurses.

I failed my first MRI at North york general so I came here for the second attempt. Im having issue with my back pain when I lie down on my back that was also the reason my first attempt failed cuz nygh strapped me so tight and didnt allow me to turn on my side and I couldnt stand the pain. I explained that to sunnybrook MRI staff, they fully understood and allowed me to try a few different gestures until I reached my most comfortable point. Throughout the process they encouraged me, gave me feedback and made 40min felt like 4min. I really appreciate their patient oriented services. They are professionals with warm hearts. Oh yah and the MRI machines are the newer models so that not only I can lie down on my side instead of my back, but also the interior is roomier.
