Painless Medicine and Therapeutics

We came down from sault ste marie for my first infusions for pain. We met with Dr Weiss in March and loved in from the start! The nurses are so sweet and go above and beyond! I find very few professionals actually listen to your history with how you react to certain situations but they made sure I had ample anti nausea meds immediately amd throughout treatments which made them much mote tolerable. I've waited almost 10 years to find pain relief and I'm hopeful this will work! Thank u so much for your kindness and patience Rob & Stacey

I recently booked a consultation with Painless Medicine and Therapeutics, hoping to finally find some relief for my chronic low back pain. Unfortunately, my experience thus far has been nothing short of disappointing. I scheduled my appointment in November of 2022, and I was informed that I wouldn't be seen until May of 2023 - that's a wait of over six months! While previous reviews have praised the staff at Painless Medicine and Therapeutics, I cannot attest to their quality as I have yet to see anybody. Despite being on a cancel list, I have yet to receive any updates or progress in my appointment status. It seems that nobody ever cancels their appointments because everyone relies on them to change their lives. As someone who lives with chronic pain, the thought of waiting another several months for relief is disheartening. I was hoping for a better experience from Painless Medicine and Therapeutics, but as it stands, I cannot recommend them based on my experience thus far. I will update this review if and when I am finally seen by somebody, but until then, I am left feeling extremely disappointed.

The biggest takeaway from my first appointment at this clinic was that I truly felt heard. I met with Dr. Dov Weiss and he was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I generally mesh best with doctors who not only get my sense of humor, but kinda play off of it as well. This doctor went so far as to infuse humor into the conversation before I had a chance and once we were both comfortable, I felt we had the same sense of humor. Don't get me wrong, when talking about more serious matters, I didn't feel at all as though he laughed it off nor did he interject a joke where it was in bad taste. My overall experience was quite pleasant and I feel that the level of respect, again- kindness, and overall atmosphere of the clinic itself will really help to keep me calm when I return for the treatment plan we have decided to start me on. There was a patient kind of excitement around beginning a new avenue to betterment, between my partner, the doctor, and I that I find difficult to describe, but I left feeling positive not only about this first visit, but the future relationship with both him and the staff going forward. The office itself is quite clean, has muted yet beautiful art on the walls and it overall matches the calm I was told was needed when dealing with some of the treatments available. If I happen to ever be in a place to do so, I will absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone I can!

I am undergoing a few different treatments at the clinic. The staff is kind and compassionate and Dr Weiss took the time to explain everything and made sure all my questions were answered. My treatments so far have already made such a difference in my life, both for pain and anxiety/depression/ptsd. With the help of this clinic and the treatments for the first time in decades I feel hopeful and excited to get my life back. Thank you Dr Weiss and your amazing staff!
